Matthew Bailey heads the Revill Law Firm’s post-trial division where he focuses on criminal and civil appeals in both state and federal court, Rule 32 petitions, federal habeas petitions, expungements, pardons, paroles, motions to run sentences concurrent, and much more. His work ranges from cases such as marijuana possession up to and including capital murder.
A native of Huntsville AL, Mr. Bailey attended the University of Alabama School of Law, where he received a Certificate in Public Interest Law, Order of Samaritan Award, Dean’s Community Service Award, was published in the Law and Psychology Journal, and was admitted to the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society.
During law school, Mr. Bailey worked as a research assistant that focused on Constitutional Law issues and interned at the Jefferson County Public Defender’s Office. It was during this time that he channeled his passion for legal work into protecting the rights of Alabama citizens from the common overreach by Alabama officials.
Mr. Bailey is an outspoken advocate for those who are taken advantage of by our current legal system and believes that it is his duty as an American to ensure that they are given the best representation possible.
