Genevieve Turkett (Legal Assistant)
Genevieve Turkett is a born-and-bred Birmingham native, growing up two blocks away from her first school, W.J. Christian in Roebuck Springs, and a short trip from her first church, Eastlake United Methodist. After graduating from Hoover High School in 2005, she went on to graduate with a double major in English & Biology from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in 2009.
In 2012, Genevieve took a position with the Mississippi Teacher Corps, a highly-competitive program created by the University of Mississippi that trains teachers to teach in high-poverty public schools in Mississippi, while also earning a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Ole Miss in 2014. After two years in the program, she returned to Alabama, driven to bring her experience back to the city that raised her - Birmingham.
After four years of teaching in high-needs schools, Genevieve brings her passion for standing up for her community out of the classroom and into the legal field, assisting in both the criminal and appellate practice areas of the Revill Law Firm.
